Q. What is supplied in the unit and what do I need to bring?
A. Supplied: cookware, flatware, dish ware, small kitchen appliances, grilling utensils, iron and ironing board, kitchen trash bags, kitchen towels, bath towels, bed linens, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, bars of soap, dishwasher tablets and dish soap.
Not supplied: beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, coffee and coffee filters.
Q. Are your pools heated?
A. Yes, both pools are heated to 84 degrees from October to May.
Q. Do you supply beach/pool towels?
A. No, we only supply bath towels and kitchen towels.
Q. Do you supply beach chairs & umbrellas?
A. Lounges and chairs are supplied at both the pool and beach area. There are also several tables with umbrellas around the pool decks. Beach toys and baby equipment can be rented through an outside rental company, ABC Baby Rentals. Please contact them directly for details.Umbrellas and tents/canopies can be rented from South Florida Beach Services by calling 941-487-0123.
Q. Do you have BBQ Grills?
A. Yes, there are 6 charcoal grills on property. Two grills are located overlooking the beach, two grills are located poolside at the beach, one in the C building patio area and one grill in the tennis court patio area. The grills by the C building and tennis courts are first come, first served. The beach and poolside grills are first come, first served before 3pm, but must be reserved after 3pm. Sign-up sheets are located in the front office. Each unit may sign up twice during the week. Sign up for the first grill time starts on Saturday for that Saturday through Friday.
Q. What do I need to supply for the grills?
A. Charcoal, lighter fluid and matches. Grilling utensils are supplied in the unit.
Q. Are there hair dryers in the unit?
A. Yes. In the event that a hair dryer is not in the unit, the office will provide a loaner hair dryer for use during your stay.
Q. Will I have access to a computer or wireless Internet?
A. Yes, there are two computers with printers located in our business center. The business center is open during office hours and is accessible with your room key. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. There is also complimentary Wireless Internet throughout the property. Passwords for the Wireless Internet are provided in each unit.
Q. Do you have any restaurants on the property?
A. No, but dining can be found nearby. The property is approximately 2 miles from the Siesta Key Village which has multiple restaurants from which to choose.
Q. Are there any vending machines or ice machines on the property?
A. There are two soda machines on property. One is located in the Tower lobby and one in the C building lobby. There is a water and ice vending machine located under the stairs leading to the Business Center.
Q. Are there washers & dryers?
A. Yes, the washers & dryers on property are card operated and located throughout the property (laundry cards and change are available at the front office). Laundry facilities are located on each floor of the Y, W and Tower buildings. They are also located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the C building. D and E building have access to the C building laundry facilities.
Q. Is there a grocery store nearby?
A. Yes, there are two small markets located on Siesta Key approximately 1 mile away. Publix, a large southeastern chain grocery store, is just off the Key, approximately 2 miles away.
Q. What time is check-in & check-out?
A. Check-in is 4:00 pm. During high season check-in times may be after 4pm. Do not purchase groceries prior to check-in. Check out time is 10:00 am.
Q. Can I get an early check-in?
A. If you arrive to the property early, please check in at the front office to receive paperwork, car pass and key to the outside restroom so you can start to enjoy the resort. If the unit is clean prior to the 4:00 pm check-in time, you can check-in early. Requests will not be taken for early check-ins.
Q. Can I get a late check-out?
A. During high season no late check-outs will be given. During off season, if the unit is not rented the same day of your scheduled departure, late check-outs may be given. Late check-outs cannot be confirmed until the day before your departure and charges may apply.
Q. What is the after hours check-in process?
A. When you initially arrive at the front gate, dial 004 on the key pad directly outside your driver side window. This will call our answering service, who will ask for your last name and your unit number. After providing the operator with this information, the gate will be opened for you. Continue down the main driveway to the center of the property until you reach the main office (on the right with a large blue awning) and proceed to the front door. On the left before you arrive at the door, there is a metal lock box next to a phone. Pick up the phone and dial the number posted on the lock box. This will bring you back to the answering service. They will ask you for your last name and unit number one more time, and then they will give you the combination for the lock box. Inside will be an envelope with your name on it, in the envelope will be one key for your unit as well as a parking pass for your vehicle. All these directions are posted on the key pad and lock box. Please come to the front office the next morning to complete your check-in.
Q. Is there covered parking?
A. Yes, covered parking is located along the C building, W building, Y building and Tower building. Parking is first come, first served.
Q. How many parking spots will I have?
A. Parking is limited to two vehicles per unit. Additional vehicles must be parked at a public lot.
Q. Can I bring my personal watercraft, RV or trailer?
A. No recreational vehicles, personal watercraft, boats or trailers are allowed on property. Vehicles cannot be washed on premise.
Q. Can I have friends visit?
A. Day visitors are welcome. During high season day visitors are limited to 4 per unit per day. Any overnight guests must be registered with the office.
Q. Any prohibited items not allowed at beach or pool area?
A. No glass items, no loud music or radios unless headphones are used, and no flotation devices in the pool are allowed with the exception of arm wings for small children and noodles.
Q. Can I bring or rent an umbrella or picnic tent?
A. Yes, canopy tents and umbrellas are allowed in designated areas. Please see the office for location. Tents and umbrellas must be taken down each night. Canopies and Umbrellas can be rented through South Florida Beach Services by calling 941-487-0123, please contact them for details.
