COVID-19 Updates, Guest Guidelines and Social Distancing

COVID-19 Response & Commitment

We are pleased to announce that we are open and accepting reservations!

In continued efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community, and in alignment with CDC guidelines, Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club is accepting new reservations and adapting our policies as necessary. The health and safety of our guests and our employees is our number one priority. In response to this pandemic, our team has adopted additional safety standards, cleaning standards and social distancing practices.


We are hopeful that the pandemic will no longer impede your travel plans, and we have adopted flexible COVID-19 Policies to allow our guests to book with confidence.
For reservations arriving through December 18th, 2020 - final payments will be due 7 days prior to arrival.
For reservations arriving December 18th, 2020 - January 2021 - final payments will be due 14 days prior to arrival.
For reservations arriving February 2021 and after - final payments will be due 30 days prior to arrival.

If the resort is required to cancel your reservation, or a stay at home order is issued for your area, the payments are fully refundable.

Check-In, Face Coverings and Social Distance Guidelines

  • Face masks are required to be worn by guests when in the Main Office, Service Office, Elevators and any Common Area where social distancing is not possible. Face masks are not required at the beach or pool areas, however social distancing guidelines are to remain in effect.
  • Please designate 1 (ONE) person from your party to check-in. The Main Office will be limited to no more than 2 (TWO) guests at a time. Please allow for social distancing.
  • All guests staying in the unit will need to be registered on the reservation. We require first and last names of all adults and first names and ages of all children, including infants.

The Fitness Center will be closed until further notice.

Housekeeping Practices

Hand Sanitizer Stations are located throughout the property for your convenience.

In addition to our already very thorough standard cleaning procedures, we are taking extra measures to clean and disinfect our rooms in their entirety between guests. All high touch areas: countertops, door handles, cabinet handles, appliances, remotes, furniture, bedding, light switches etc. are cleaned and disinfected between guests.
To allow ample cleaning time between guests, late check outs will not be available.

We have also increased our efforts in cleaning and disinfecting our community areas, elevators, grills, pool areas and pool restrooms in the same fashion.

Employee-Guest contact in units will be limited to essential services such as repairs or linen exchange. Any employee that enters an occupied unit has been instructed to wear a face covering and gloves while in the unit. Maid cleaning services may be limited during your stay.
