About Siesta Key

Siesta Key Beach is known as one of the most beautiful beaches found anywhere.  At "The Great International White Sand Beach Challenge", Siesta Key Beach was recognized as having the "whitest and finest sand in the world".  Made from 99% pure quartz, the sand is a soft, flour-like texture and is cool to the touch.  Shallow water depth in the near shore areas combined with year round lifeguard protection at Siesta Key's public beach, make this one of the safest and most popular beaches in the Country.  Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club is right around the corner from the famous Siesta Key Village, where you will find a collage of restaurants, shops, and parlors for your convenience and dining pleasure.  Siesta Key Beach is a vacation paradise for travelers, active seniors, families, and honeymooners alike.
